What this site is
A comprehensive, searchable reference for the four programming languages that ship inside ProRealTime: ProBuilder (custom indicators and basic functions), ProBacktest (strategy backtesting), ProOrder (live automated trading), and ProScreener (market scanners).
It covers every documented instruction, function, indicator, constant, and operator, with worked examples, common-error callouts, and cross-links between related concepts.

The reference is built on the documented behavior of the ProBuilder language family as established over more than a decade of ProRealTime community knowledge, restructured and expanded for docs.prorealalgos.com.

Why rebuild it
Existing references cover the syntax but are optimized for a different era of the web. This site adds:
- A short, scannable TL;DR at the top of every page, for quick answers and AI-search citation.
- A "Common errors and gotchas" section per page, distilled from years of community forum discussion.
- Multiple worked examples per instruction, labelled by sub-language (Indicator vs ProScreener vs ProBacktest vs ProOrder).
- Clear scope warnings when an instruction works in one sub-language but not another (a common source of confusion).
- Cross-links to related instructions, with brief one-line descriptions.
- A search-first homepage covering all 301 instructions at a glance.
How content is produced
Each instruction starts from a normalized record of its documented behavior. An AI rewriting step (powered by Anthropic Claude) produces a restructured reference page following our template, with new sections added. The rewritten markdown is then built into the final HTML pages you read here.
Code examples are spot-checked by hand. If you spot a syntax error or a logically wrong example, please tell us.
